The name Sveggvika Bacalao Hotel reflects an important part of our history.
For generations, fishing and the production and trade of stockfish and bacalao have played an important role along the Norwegian coast.
Sveggvika itself is rooted in this history. The former stockfish bacalao factory dating from 1922 has today been given new life as a hotel and restaurant.
This heritage creates a natural connection between the history of the buildings and the food we serve today.
