Sveggvika is idyllically situated very close to the sea with marvellous view at the outside of the island Averøy at Nord-Møre.
The sea is the closest neighbour, and Averøy can offer several tourist attractions and activities, especially for fishing and outdoor life. Averøy is connected with the mainland in the south by the famous Atlantic road (Atlanterhavsveien) and the eccentric Storseisund-bridge. The nearest town to Sveggvika is Kristiansund, appr. 15 min by ferry from Bremsnes.
The Atlantic tunnel from Averøy to Kristiansund is under construction and is planned to be finished in December 2008. In the opposite direction, appr. 1 hour drive from Sveggvika, is Molde, called the town of the roses.
We have 6 cabins for rent in Sveggvika and an old building (“brygge”) from 1924 that is under restoration. Sveggvika is a perfect place for fishing and is organized for that purpose, but Sveggvika is also a good starting point for other holiday and outdoor activities. Or simply just relax by the cabin and enjoy the marvellous view!
